In 1942 Port Talbot, young Richard Jenkins—later known as legendary actor Richard Burton—rises from a miner’s son to a star in the making. Guided by teacher Philip Burton and landlady Ma Smith, his raw talent flourishes, but the weight of his past threatens his path to greatness in this remarkable story.
