Introduced by Charlotte Frances Burton, Richard Burton’s granddaughter, the Centenary actor gives one of his highest-regarded performances in this stunning adaptation of John le Carre’s classic Cold War novel.

Released in 1965, the film tells the story of Cold Way spy Alec Leamas who chooses to take on another field assignment instead of taking a desk job from the safety of home.
